I do however get the impression that they don’t know exactly what vegan is and confuse it with vegetarian so always double check. I hope there is no cross contamination between vegan stuff with milk, cheese or other dairy product, but it cannot be guaranteed.
Think of it like a pack or morrisons own brand digestives. The packaging states the biscuits contain vegan ingredients, but with an allergy disclaimer “may contain milk”. Until otherwise clarified, assume vegan dishes “may contain milk” if you have an allergy.
